NFT Yearbook
Preserving Memories | Celebrating Frens | Loving Life
Vibe.
Do you remember your 9th-grade classmates?
Probably not all of them.
Time flies by and luckily responsible adults figured out that we’d want to connect to those memories and look back at those times.
That’s what we are creating for the NFT community. The first-ever record of the NFT space on the blockchain and IRL.
Damn, what a great idea…wish we would’ve thought of it in 2017
It's an NFT yearbook.
A 3d, interactive book that is fully readable on OpenSea. Better still, NFT holders will get an IRL, big, beautiful, hard copy, coffee table book to show off to the guests on Friday nights.
NFT Drop 1.0.
The initial drop for the NFT Yearbook Volume 1.0 includes 9,669 units.
All NFT holders (when the snapshot is taken) will also receive a printed version of the Yearbook.
The exact drop date is TBD but expect Q4, 2022.
The NFT Yearbooks have various traits and rarities:
Out of the 9,669 NFTs, there will be over 2,000 NFT Yearbooks that contain access to populating specific blank positions available. Blank positions will be populated by the NFT holders for a period of up to six weeks after the public mint and prior to the NFT Yearbook reveal/physical publishing. These include:
Inside covers
Full pages
Half pages
NFT PFP and yearbook quotes
Personal messages
Twenty-five, 1:1 artists' book covers to be auctioned & donated to a charity of the artists' choice.
Contents.
The first publishing of the NFT Yearbook will memorialize the NFT space from its humble beginnings, to the record-breaking growth up until now, and everything in between.
The Yearbook will contain 420 pages (as on-brand as possible) and will include NFT educational information, editorials from the leading thought leaders in the NFT space, the NFT artists that have captivated communities, and the collections driving innovation, creativity, and growth, and a whole lot more.
Did we mention that you get a beautiful, hard copy, coffee table book too?

Tech.
We use a combination of X3Dom and Javascript to load inline GLV models that work on Opensea and make the models interactive. All the data is stored on IPFS and Pinned through Filecoin to ensure permanence.
We use a smart contract that allows the URI prefix to be changed until the contract is locked. The NFTs will be dropped and will go through 4 phases before the contract will be locked forever:
Mint: Each NFT will have the same spinning gif before the reveal - After the reveal, owners will see an interactive book with attributes indicating if the specific NFT has space allocated to it as well as any other value or Utility that NFT has. All of this Metadata will be randomized pre-mint so everyone has a fair chance.
Updates: As NFT holders burn their attributes to claim their space in the book and any other digital/physical benefits their NFTs held, the Metadata of that specific NFT will be updated to reflect that those attributes have been claimed. The attribute burning process will be managed through an online portal - the same portal where holders will upload their content features for the book. Holder will connect their wallet and have access to a page where they can upload their content. Once they start the process of supplying content their space allocation will be marked as claimed on their NFTs
Proof: Once all artwork has been received and the book layout completed - holders with a space allocation will have access to a portal where they will be able to view the complete book for a period of one week for proofing.
Final Contract Update, Lock, and Print: After final changes made during the proofing period, the Metadata will be updated with the final book layout and locked forever so no more changes can be made - ever. The physical books will go to print.
Physical Books: Holder will connect their wallet to the portal and claim their physical copy of The NFT Yearbook. The portal will allow potential buyers to check whether an NFT has already claimed its Physical book before purchasing.
